Day Five, sorry no day four

Well, it turns out I had zero time for the day four, so i had to skip it. Anyway, I got to catch the shows of day five, two in particular, both were fun in very different ways. One of them was a complete dance and expression show, similar to Nihilo, the other one was a pop show with lots of music and comedy. Both were definitely worth seeing.

So, anyway, no more words, lets go to the pics:

Tango Sumo : Expedition Paddock

Dancing, lots of corporeal expression, a bit of comedy (made everyone laugh), and some abstract hidden meaning, which i didnt have time to experience as i spent most of the time behind the lens.

It all started with a bunch of crazy people

Who could do admiring feats

With sometimes a bit of a sarcastic meaning

Sometimes they just enjoyed people's applause

Sometimes their imagination just flew away

Acrobatics, was certainly not unknown to the performers

Backstage things were also interesting

Already having lost their heads

And then ... they transformed

into some sort of funny creatures

With akward movements

Hard to describe, all I know

Is that they could fly

And the kid of the day goes to ...

Les Alamas Givrés : Die Abenteuer von Don Quijote und Sancho Panza
And of course, the tale of Don Quijote de la Mancha could not be out of the Festival.

"En un lugar de la mancha de cuyo nombre no quiero acordarme ... "
> "In a place of La Manche, which name I do not want to remember ..."

Completely pop presentation, complete with fireworks and Robbie williams music. I wonder if Cervantes is twisting in his grave.

It all started in ...

They draw a big crowd for their long and rocky journey

The heros came through a long journey, chased by police men

They even were pulled out, complete with horses and everything

Very strict of course

Oh poetry!, a essential piece of the show

And our main character, the hero of the tale, where is your Dulcinea?

Making a number of stops, even for a small snack, and perhaps a bit more

And somebody else was running with the crowd and catching pics. I would love to see her results. Check out the DeviantArt version of this pic here: El Escape de Dulcinea

All to end in the legendary Hauptplatz

I hope you enjoyed this day's pic. I will post tomorrow the Finale.
